Background

SQABD was founded on March 4, 2004. The intentions were simple, i.e. to influence change in the software quality void in the Software Industry in Bangladesh. We initially started off as a mailing list for discussing issues related to Software Quality Assurance and Testing. After realizing that more needed to be done to fulfill our intentions, we held a series of roundtables with skilled practitioners to outline the mission and vision of SQABD. We finally changed our strategy to address both Software Quality Development and Assurance.
