SQABD held its 9th roundtable, with the support of BASIS. This roundtable was the 2nd session on the discussions on "Fixed Price Software Projects". A fixed price contract between a provider and a customer defines the features, timing and price of a software project. The purpose of this roundtable was to identify the risks of undertaking these projects and how to mitigate the risks.

The roundtable was held on September 23, 2006. BASIS facilitated this roundtable by organizing the venue, refreshments and providing the services for the meeting. SQABD moderated the meeting.
